It was so obvious that they only played it in the first place because it was new and they wanted to take advantage of the SEO, and that Arin had decided to hate it before he even started playing, just because it was popular.

He complained about the game having an objective marker, when A: he would 100% have gotten lost without it, and complained about being given no indication of where he was supposed to go and B: it's optional and if it was really so offensive to him, he could have turned it off in the settings. I think the eye-opening moment for me was when they did one session of God of War.
IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE GAME GRUMPS TRIAL
Hell, I'm pretty sure he predicted what happens in the first trial in the third game, and that's when they first started the second one!! And I love the moments where Danny literally becomes the Ultimate Clairvoyant by predicting things that happens later on in the story, which is honestly pretty fitting since he looks just like Hiro. That moment with Mondo and Taka was the funniest shit ever and I found myself literally crying from laughing so hard. I'm still annoyed that he was hellbent on getting mad at the students in the first game for referring to Chihiro as he, even though Chihiro was obviously crossdressing and not actually transgender, and it's all because he skimmed through the story and ignored important plot points. Like yeah I know the game's mechanics are difficult to understand especially when they don't do visual instructions, but Arin hardly pay attention to the actual story and gets confused and then complain about it.

It's not enjoyable watching someone complain and complain about a game in which they hardly ever pay attention to the story and then get confused shortly after. But lately he started complaining as well just like Arin, so I stopped watching after the second trial.

He's gotten really annoying after the first game, and at this point, I only stayed to watch the episodes just for Danny since he's the only one genuinely enjoying the game. I'm pretty sure Arin doesn't even like visual novels. He plays the games simply because people requested him to do it.
